RN Program Application Process

Registered Nursing Program Application Period:
January 12-February 9, 2024

Selected students will be placed to start the program in Fall 2024 & Spring 2025

Important Dates to Follow:

November 2023 or before (recommended timeframe, allows for processing of petition and receiving results by application deadline) Courses taken outside SCCCD should be reviewed by a FCC counselor for possible Course Substitution Petition
December 2023 or before All pre-requisite courses must be complete before applying
January 9 - February 9, 2024 Application Q&A is available
January 2024 or before Send all college/university transcripts to FCC Admissions & Records Office
January 12-February 9, 2024 Complete online program application (link in Step 3 below) and upload required documentation
February 2, 2024 or before (recommended timeframe, allows sufficient time to complete before the application deadline) Complete TEAS Exam (and transfer score to FCC if not taken at FCC Assessment Center)
February 9, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Access to the RN Program Application Closes
April 19, 2024 Lottery Status will be emailed to all applicants
April 26, 2024 Deadline to accept placement in the program, if selected

Complete each step below in order to apply to the Registered Nursing Program.

All applicants to the Nursing programs must apply for admission to Fresno City College to obtain a SCCCD Student ID number prior to applying to the Registered Nursing programs. When applying you will be asked to declare a major, please select Pre-Allied Health. Once accepted into the program your major will be changed to Registered Nursing.
